Die St. Anna Stiftung ist die zivilrechtliche Trägerschaft. Sie wurde 1998 gegründet und hat den Zweck, die finanziellen Bedürfnisse der in der Schweiz lebenden Schwestern sicherzustellen und gemeinnützige Aufgaben im Rahmen der Zielsetzungen der Gemeinschaft der St. Anna-Schwestern zu übernehmen. Die Stiftung, in der die Schwestern der Gemeinschaftsleitung die Stimmenmehrheit haben, trifft Entscheidungen in betriebswirtschaftlichen, administrativen und rechtlichen Belangen. Sie trägt Verantwortung für den Betrieb der von den Schwestern geführten Werke.
